He wont talk to me cause he's popular......? :(?

I like this kid m he knows I like him n he always looks at me n holds open doors for me n stood up for me once. We've nvr talked to eachother tho. Back in December his friends hared me cause I like him n he just stood there. But he's popular and he may like me but won't talk to me cause he's popular n cares what his friends thnk. What shud I do??
