Preparing for divorce- what to expect?

When I got my divorce, I filled out the paperwork, he was served and had to fill out his portion we both sent our paperwork back to the courts and they set a divorce date. but in some states if you have a child you have to go through an attorney, you could probably get help from legal aide in your county. If he isn't contesting anything then you should ask for full custody and child support.
