I have a cold and had a sore throat with blood in phlegm?

I'm 21 years old and my cold started as a sore throat a few days ago. My throat doesn't really hurt anymore but I still have a cold. I feel my nose draining down my throat which causes me to cough up phlegm. Now today was the first time I coughed up a big ball of phlegm with blood in it. Am I okay? I'm really scared because I don't have health insurance currently. I really hope this is because of the cold I'm having. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
