Can a Dr prescribe lortab for severe arthritis in the knees? I have four kids and lots of pain n trouble sleep

My mri showed bone on bone in my knees. I can usually get through part of the day on the arthritis meds, but the pain gets bad at night, and forget sleeping, I toss and turn all night. I had lortab after a hysterectomy, and all was wonderful. Can i get it for the arthritis?
