PLZ readdd and help meee..whats wrong with my boyfreind?

we used to hang out all the time but now it seems like everrytime we make plans to hang out he finds an excuse not to hangout with me..he says he doesnt have enough time for me anymore cuz he doesnt have a car and i have school and he has work..wen i txt him he txts me bak late at night making up an excuse saying his phone died or something during the day. i love him so much. he ruiened my life cuz im sooo depressed without him. i feel like theres a part of me missing =*( i keep asking him if i could call him to tlk to him but he nvr wants to he always says he cant and he ALWAYS makes up an excuse everytime i ask him..like the one time i asked him if i could call him and he said he cant cuz hes drinking...i txted him 1day and asked him if he still wants to b with me..and this is wut he exactly said.."idk cuz i cant hang out with you al the time and if u feel that we have to hangout everyday than idk"...that made me SO depressed i miss him so much. wutt should i do or say to him to change this?????????HELP plzzzz
