Is there any way to strengthen the brine clutch lacrosse head?

I'm getting the brine clutch and im sending it to place to get it custom strung with just normal hard mesh. A lot of people have told me that it breaks really easily so i was wondering if there was anything i could do to it to make it stronger. I'm pretty sure it breaks around the bottom, but I'm not completely sure. Maybe doing some extra stringing near the bottom or taping part of the head? if you could give me some help with LOTS of details and how to do it i'd really appreciate it
