How do I stop a pedophile?

I was at a friends house and used his computer to surf the net. I stumbled across bookmarks to kiddie sites. I then had a look on his computer and found saved images of child . He the only one in the house so it must be him!! Should I call the cops or send some homeboys round to slice off his manhood and feed it to the dog?
