Has any ones dog ever scd all the skin of its pads?

my 8 month old border collie pup was chasing the all in the park today on concrete she ran so fast and skidded on the concrete she has scd most of thhe skin off her little pads, shes been to the emergency vets and they just gave her some antibiotics, and told us to bath them in salt water 2 time a day, shes in sooo much pain she wont even stand up when she did she just wobbled she cant really walk. she looks so sad! has this happened to ur dog ? how long till shell be up to mischeif again?
