Did Mike Brown really deserve coach of the year?

I don't have a major problem with it. However, I prefer to see it go to a coach that had lesser talent, overcame obstacles, and achieved beyond expectations. The Cavs definitely surped all expectations, but they had the probable MVP, and some quality talent on the roster. I'm not sure how much of the credit Brown should receive for their success.
