Band help, suggestions please!?

I play trombone full time, but I can play the saxophone too. I personally like the trombone best of all the instruments I can play, but my second favorite is sax. It has an awesome sound and you can play many different types of music. Once you learn the tenor sax, you can learn soprano sax, alto sax, and bari sax as well, depending on whether you like high sounds or low sounds. You can play in your band, but also in many different ensembles, including jazz band, which is really fun. (I play in the jazz band at my school on the trombone) No, it's definitely not a heavy instrument. Heavy instruments are the tuba, cello, b, and I guess you could say the baritone is heavy. If you like an instrument, don't let the weight stop you.
